PENNY LANE - The Beatles
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tabbed by: Alejandro Carrasco
Email: alejcr@gmail.com
Tuning: Standard
Chords used:
B: 7 9 9 8 7 7 or x 2 4 4 4 2
Bm7: x 2 4 4 3 2
G#m7: 4 6 4 4 4 4
C#m7: x 4 6 4 5 4
F#: 2 4 4 3 2 2
G: 3 5 5 4 3 3
F#sus4: 2 2 4 4 2 2 or 2 4 4 4 2 2
A: x 0 2 2 2 0
D: x x 0 2 3 2
E: 0 2 2 1 0 0
C#m7: x 4 6 4 5 4
D#m7: x 6 8 6 7 6
In some versions C#m7 and D#m7 are replaced by A/C# and B/D# respectively, can be played
like that. I think that the minor 7th chords sound better. For the outro play 2 semitones up.
Use B Chord = x 2 4 4 4 2 in order to have the same voicing as in the non modulated chorus A chord
