    In his book "Revolution In The Head", Ian Macdonald calls this
    song "fair mainstream pop". I think it is just wonderful pop.
    He thinks that Paul's voice sounds "tired". I think this is
    Macca's best singing. The lyrics may be "weak", but so, what?
    This is just fine MUSIC, way above any other band at the time.
    Listen to the second part of the verses -"Now today I find you
    have changed your mind", etc.- Bm to Gm (vi, submediant to iv,
    subdominant) repeated. It's a great chord change and an awful
    little piece of melody. (The whole song is a rave).
    The transitions between verses (pentatonic as the intro and
    the ending, though just a soft one measure brush) work as ideal
    hooks too and the bridges, with maracas on fours, two "latin"
    sounding high toms' eighths on second beats and accented snare
    on fourth beats and also some playful melodic intervals, which
    dramatically top on the dominant (V) fuel the verses perfectly.
    The guitar solo is performed by George and Paul, doubling him
    on the higher octave, on their Epiphone Casinos and John plays
    his new Hohner Pianet electric piano and a rhythm guitar track
    that no one seems to talk about, but it is there, hardly heard
    because it's almost buried in the mix.

Great Tab and Great Song! The song was a perfect fit for the times and I believe very influential as a short time later there were pop songs coming out with similar minor chord type affects. Thank you for your opinion and information. I agree with Sanduiche3 that it is fun to see how songs come about. I do still like a little mystery though. It's like watching a movie with cool effects. If you know how they make the effects, you can sort of lose a little of the awe that is exciting.
Great job mate!! Always nice to know about how artists made their songs, very interesting.
