Solid tab of an amazing song. Man what a band The Clash were...
Strummer plays the D as a barred E shape on the 10th fret, with the G directly below (as a barred A shape).
Strummer plays the turnaround (A / G / F# / D) in open chord positions. I play this by stabbing the open D shape, then stabbing and holding an open A chord while running down the bass root notes of G and F# on the 6th string, then finish with an open D chord to complete the turnaround. Sounds great on both acoustic and electric.
