PLAYING TIPS:
Play the D5 with the index finger on the 1st string,
ring and little finger on 3rd and 2nd respectively.
For the D6 move the little finger to the 1st string,
leaving the other fingers where they are, then the
little finger back to the 2nd string again for the D5
The A7 play as a barre, adding the ring finger on
the 1st string, and lifting off for the A6.
For the higher voiced A7 * use the little finger
on the 1st string.
In the linking sections slide up to the D6 from the D

Supersonic Rocket Ship – The Kinks

Ray Davies: "I remember going into a music store on Shaftesbury Avenue in London when we were about to make 'Lola'. I said, 'I want to get a really good guitar sound on this record. I want a Martin.' And in the corner they had this old 1938 Dobro resonator guitar, in this case a National Steel, that I bought for $150. I put them together on 'Lola', which is what makes that clangy sound: the combination of the Martin and the Dobro with heavy compression."
The National Steel would play an integral part in many Kinks projects after that. In the 1972 song "Supersonic Rocket Ship", Ray Davies would use the guitar to create a Caribbean feel for the record.

I use this for piano and its pretty much impossible to play an A13

Wonderful job as usual.
If only the rest of the band liked the song.
Oh well 😊
