I've seen a lot of tabs for this song, but none sounded quite right.
So, I worked it out. It may be slightly different (also that riff over
the verse I didn't know), but this is pretty much it.

Intro: E C#m A B E C#m A B

The intro lick is something like this
(There might be some dual note stuff going on too):

                  e------------------------|
                  b------------------------|
                  g--4---4---6-4-2---------|
                  d-----6---6------6-4-----|
                  a------------------------|
                  e------------------------| x2

               E C#m A B E C#m
You and I travel to the beat of a different drum
                  A B E C#m
oh can't you tell by the way I run
               A B E C#m A B
Every time you make eyes at me wo oh
               E C#m A B E C#m
You cry and moan and say it will work out
                   A B E
but honey child I've got my doubts
                   A B
you can't see the forest for the Trees

               A5
Oh! Don't get me wrong it's not that I'm knockin'
                   B5
it's just that I'm not in the market
                     A5 B5 E5
for a girl who wants to love only me
               A5 B5
Yes And I ain't saying you ain't pretty
               E C#m A B
               All I'm sayin's I'm not ready
                  F#7
for any person, place or thing
                 F#m7 B7
To try and pull the reins in on me

               E C#m A B E
So Goodbye I'll be leavin' I see no sense
                       A B
               in this cry-in' and grievin'
                         E C#m A B7 E
We'll both live a lot longer If you live without me

               E C#m A B E A B

(Throw in some wild bends for the first bit of this,
use the E major pentatonic scale)
               A5
Oh! Don't get me wrong it's not that I'm knockin'
                   B5

                     A5 B5 E5

                 F#m7 B7

I think the verses should go to G#m instead of the C#m.

Either C#m or G#m works OK. Thanks!

Yes, the C#m chord is incorrect, keeping in mind the descending guitar line in the verses (E-D#-C#-B) which necessitates either a G#m or a B on the second chord of the sequence. Otherwise looking good
