Check out the tab
i think this song is in Eb, i don't have the best ear and this is mostly rough work but
it should be enough to spark someone more talented to tab it out properly

The studio recording does indeed have an Eb Bass note; don't sell your ear short! The live version is played entirely differently to the album recording. It's done an octave up (probably for the convenience of attaching a capo as opposed to having to entirely re-tune the guitar between songs. I personally play this song in a variation of Bb Modal tuning: Eb-F-Bb-G-Bb-Eb I've written my own tab for it, pending approval. The other tabs are for the live version which I don't think sounds as rich or powerful as the Album version.

You were pretty close on this one, but they play it with a capo on the 3rd fret. Here is a video of them playing it live to help you out. I would tab it, but I just don't have the time or patients. https://www.npr.org/event/music/190382702/the-national-tiny-desk-concert?sc=fb&cc=fmp
