THE WOMBATS - ANTI-D
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Another great song from The Wombats, enjoy
[Intro]
C F Am F
[Chorus]
C F Am F C F Am
Please allow me to be your anti-depressant
F C F Am F C F Am F
I too am prescribed as freely as any decongestant
[Verse 1]
C Am
We kick back and let the pills do the talking
C Am
People hear a distinct rattle when we're walking
C D F
Then there's the extra two stone that's our only guarantee
C Am
Our vivid dreams are just like big production movies
C Am
They get entangled well within our daily routines
C D F
So please re-think or use my trademark strategy
[Chorus]
C F Am F C F Am
And please allow me to be your anti-depressant
F C F Am F C F Am F
I too am prescribed as freely as any decongestant
[Post-Chorus]
C F Am F
aaa aaa... (x4)
[Verse 2]
C G Am G
It's hard to smile when you're as flattened as a pancake
C G Am G
The only tears come from our heads when we concentrate
C D F
Perhaps I'm being unjust or perhaps you agree
Dm F
Still I've thrown away my citalopram
Am F
I needed more than what was in those 40 milligrams
Dm F
So cast away with the doctor's plans
[Chorus]
C F Am F C F Am
Please allow me to be your anti-depressant
F C F Am F C F Am F
I too am prescribed as freely as any decongestant
[Interlude]
C F Am F
na na na na... aaa... (x8)
[Outro]
Dm F
Still I've thrown away my citalopram
Am F
Although I felt as grim as the reaper man
Dm F
So cast away with the doctor's plans
C F Am F C

good work. but in my opinion it sounds better if you do the following:
replace F with Fmaj7 033210 (i think at the end of each verse and chorus a regular F can be played, but the others sound better played as a major chord)
Verse 1: should be C-Am-Fmaj7, the last chord was missing in your version
Verse 2: I think it`s the same as verse 1, no G
you can replace D with Dsus2 x00230, but D sounds good, too
