Note: if you can't play barre chords you can play F chord like Kimberly plays live
(XX3211) or transpose the song to -5 and put the capo on the 6th fret (like that you play G
instead of C, D instead of G, Em instead of Am, C instead of F and Bm instead of Em)

Capo 1rst fret

Intro: C G Am F G

       C Am
Oh Pioneer I sing your song
         F C G
It's the hymn of those who've gone before and those who carry on
    C Em
Pioneer, your work is hard
        F C G
But the future of us all rests on the shoulders of your heart

C Am F
Where are we going, oh I don't know
    C G
But still I've got to go
C Am F
What will become of us, oh I don't care
                   C G C G Am F G
All I know is I'll go anywhere, Pioneer

       C Am
Oh Pioneer, so young and brave
   F C G
Be careful of the careful souls who doubt you along the way
    Am Em
Pioneer, you orphaned child
      F C G
Your mother is adventure and your father is the wild

C Am F
Where are we going, oh I don't know
    C G
But still I've got to go
C Am F
What will become of us, oh I don't care
                   C G Am Em
All I know is I'll go anywhere, Pioneer

F G
Let your heart not be troubled

Am
I won't run when bullets chase me
Em
I won't rest where arms embrace me
F
I will love when people hate me
G
I won't hush, no you can't make me
Am
Send the dark but it won't break me
E7
You can try but you can't change me
F
Take my life, they will replace me
G
I won't hush, no you can't make me
G C
I won't hush, no we will sing

C Am F
Where are we going, oh I don't know
    C G
But still I've got to go
C Am F
What will become of us, oh I don't care
                   C G C G
All I know is I'll go anywhere, Pioneer

Am F G C G
Let your heart not be troubled, ooh ohh
Am F G C
Let your heart not be troubled

Just a couple suggestions... in the first verse, this is a Em instead of an Am:

C Em
Pioneer, your work is hard

And then in the second verse, it's Am/Em (not C/Am):

Am Em
Oh Pioneer, so young and brave

Oops I meant the part where she sings Pioneer you orphaned child! Not "so young and brave."
