the fsus2 is just f and the dsus4 is just d.

Nice! this sure helped me a lot.

Fsus2 sounds right; Fadd9 works also, I think. Dsus4 is definately right.

but, it seems to me that there is a difference (in the verses) between lines 1&4, and 2&3. The extra C chord, which is only strummed for 1 beat, is only used in lines 2&3. In lines 1&4, it should be just like this:

G Dsus4 Fsus2 G C Fsus2 C
Here I stand head in hand, turn my face to the wall

I think the extra C chord in lines 2&3 would only be used on an accoustic version, as the bass guitar provides this note on the original arrangement.

also, I wonder if the "Dadd9" in the Chorus is really just a Dsus2 (xx0320) or Dsus2/A (x00320)...which I think sounds right, and is certainly much easier than Dadd9 (x54230)
