I saw someone's tab and it wasn't quite right. Here's my version. I've got the main rift
parts and the bass guitar which keeps the song rhythm so it has to be there.

Standard tuning for guitar 1

Intro

'Rift 1'
|---------------|
|---------------| x4
|-77776-79-7777-|
|---------------|
|---------------|
|---------------|

The bass joins in after 1 bar with a solid D rhythm.

Now because there's no low D chord on a normal guitar you need to tune your Top E string
down to a low D note to give you that solid bass. If you're not sure how just Tune your
top string down so it sounds the same as your D string but lower.

Guitar 2 Intro (tuned with drop down D)

D chord
e -----------------|
B -----------------|
G -----------------|
D 0000000000000000-| x3
A 0000000000000000-|
D 0000000000000000-|

After the 4 bar intro the verses keep going with exactly the same 'Rift 1' on guitar1,
but guitar2 plays chords D G A D:-

  D G A G
e --------------------------------------------------------------------|
B --------------------------------------------------------------------|
G --------------------------------------------------------------------|
D 0000000000000000-5555555555555555-7777777777777777-5555555555555555-|
A 0000000000000000-5555555555555555-7777777777777777-5555555555555555-|
D 0000000000000000-5555555555555555-7777777777777777-5555555555555555-|

Verse 1

D
On the floor of Tokyo
           G
Or down in London town to go, go
         A
With the record selection

And the mirror's reflection
    G
I'm dancing with myself

             D
When there's no-one else in sight
       G
In the crowded lonely night
       A
Well I wait so long

For my love vibration
        G
And I'm dancing with myself

('Rift 1' cuts out on the chorus so guitar1 just plays the same chords as the verse)

Chorus
   D
Oh dancing with myself
   G
Oh dancing with myself
             A
Well there's nothing to lose

And there's nothing to prove
        G
I'll be dancing with myself
        D(Let chord ring)

Verse (Rift 1 again)
     D
If I looked all over the world
            G
And there's every type of girl
         A
But your empty eyes

Seem to pass me by
         G
Leave me dancing with myself

         D
So let's sink another drink
             G
'Cause it'll give me time to think
     A
If I had the chance

I'd ask the world to dance
            G
And I'll be dancing with myself

Chorus (Just play chords)
   D
Oh dancing with myself
   G
Oh dancing with myself
             A
Well there's nothing to lose

And there's nothing to prove
        G
I'll be dancing with myself
           D'(hit once)
Oh oh a-oh
           G'
Oh oh a-oh
           D'
Oh oh a-oh
           A'
Oh oh a-oh

Solo on guitar1 (Standard Tuning)

   D

I'd ask the world to dance
     A
If I had the chance

I'd ask the world to dance
           D'
Oh oh a-oh
           G'
Oh oh a-oh
           D'
Oh oh a-oh
           G'
Oh oh a-oh
           D
Oh oh a-oh

(D)
 Dancing with myself
G
Dancing with myself
D
Dancing with myself
G
Dancing with myself
D

G.... Etc. (the song fades out with the D and G Chords)

At the end guitar 2 also does a kind of blues ending which goes
DD AA DD AA DD AA DD AA
GG DD GG DD GG DD GG DD etc... (This is on the drop down D string by the way) You don't
have to put it in but it sounds alright.

That's it. Hope you found it OK. Think it's pretty close. Comment if you think it's good
or bad. Cheers!

Good Job, I am grateful and inspired by the one finger technique! I am being Honest not sarcastic. You jogged my memory of Great' Rolling Stone Guitar player Keith Richards he has ALWAYS done this and 555, 777, 999, chording is the same one song to another. I like how much freedom of Range of getting to run around the stage and not worry so much about making mistakes. Wind milling and pick scrapes are simpler too. We all can't or will be Michael Schenker even though I keep practicing. I've worked with this last month It really changes my Stage presents! I showed my friend that trick. We new about D tuning but to hard to swap guitars out covering other stuff. Thanks Great Tab! Do More!!
