The album chords are played without a capo, but if you can't sing in Charity's key I
suggest putting the capo on 2 for this one.

[Intro]

C/G G C/G F
C/G Am G

then a little bass walk on the E and A strings:

e|---------------|
B|---------------|
G|---------------|
D|---------------|
A|-------2---0---|
E|---3-----------|

[Verse 1]

C/G G C/G
     There's always hope
G C/G
Hope in death
   F C/G
It brands these bonds
G C/G
Refines the rest
F G C/G
But these days are numbered
F G C/G
This life absolute
F G C/G Am
I need this faith to keep me walkin'
F G C/G
To keep me alive

[Chorus]

C/G G C/G F
Oh darlin', oh darlin'
C/G Am G
Won't you please take me home?
C/G G C/G F
Oh darlin', oh sweet darlin'
C/G Am G
Won't you please keep me warm?

[Verse 2]

C/G G C/G
   We must strive to be
G C/G
Be like the moon
F C/G
To be kind
G C/G
Distracted by its tune
F G C/G
But these days are numbered
F G C/G
This life absolute
F G C/G Am
We all complain if it rains or it shines
F G C/G
But we're never mad at the moon

[Chorus]

C/G G C/G F
Oh darlin', oh darlin'
C/G Am G
Won't you please take me home?
C/G G C/G F
Oh darlin', oh sweet darlin'
C/G Am G
Won't you please keep me warm?

Oops- that chorus should be:

C/G G C/G F
Oh darlin', oh darlin'
C/G Am G
Won't you please take me home?
C/G G C/G F
Oh darlin', oh sweet darlin'
C/G Am G
Won't you please keep me warm?

Also UG didn't post my "little bass walk on the E and A strings:"

A------0---2
E---3-------

Glaze- your lyrics correction is incorrect- I got the lyrics directly from the band's web site. She is hard to understand sometimes!
