e:-1--0
B:-1--1
G:-2--2
D:-3--3
A:-x--x
E:-1--1

Dm A# C

F/Dm7
Lazy days, help me through the hopelss haze.
but my oh my.
Tragic eyes, I can't even recognise.
myself behind.
Dm A# C
So if the answer is no, can I change your mind?

F/Dm7
Out again, a siren screams at half past ten.
and you won't let go
while I ignore that we've both felt like this before,
it starts to show.
Dm A# C
so if I have a chance, would you let me know?

Gm F C [for each line]
Why aren't you shaking?
Sit back and sigh
graciously taking
oh you're too kind

Dm A#
and if the answer is no, can I change your mind?

F/Dm7 [i.E. intro chords again]
we're all the same and love is blind
the sun is gone, beofre it shines
and I said, if the answer is no, can i change your mind? x3

I think you're in the right area, seems like the right key and the chorus works. I think the verses have a little more than 2 chords in though... does it not change for example when he says "My oh my"?

Yeah I think it's the same as the chorus e.g.:-

F / Dm7
Lazy days, help me through the hopelss haze.
Dm A# C
but my oh my.
F / Dm7
Tragic eyes, I can't even recognise
Dm A# C
myself behind.

It's also quite nice to use the normal Dm, A# and C and then switch to barres on the 5th, 6th and 8th frets for the chorus.
