Strumming
There is no strumming pattern for this song yet. and get +5 IQ
This is a fantastic song to play with a few people.
The strumming is not the hard part, it's nailing the very deep and rich vocals.
Either way, I think these chords are more accurate to the song.
Listen to the song to understand the patterns.
Also once you learn the progression for the Chorus, Verse, and Bridge you know the
progressions for the entire song.
=) Have fun!

[Intro]
G Cadd9 G Cadd9

[Chorus]
G Cadd9
You never need nobody
G D
You never been alone
G Am7 (one strum)
And I try to get your affection
G D G
And all I ever do is wrong

[Verse]
G Cadd9
You could break a heart in your sleep
              G D
Yeah the way you move makes a grown man weak
G Cadd9
They all knock at your door
G D
Saying please please I cant take no more

[Chorus]
(Repeat 1st Chorus)
You never need nobody
You never been alone
And I try to get your affection
And all I ever do is wrong

[Verse 2]
(Repeat)
You could calm a storm with your tone
And the way you sing makes the mocking bird hold
The grass you walk on gives way
Saying please please come back this way

[Chorus]
(Repeat)
You never need nobody
You never been alone
And I try to get your affection
And all I ever do is wrong

[Bridge]
G
(NOTE: every chord in the bridge should be strummed twice only)
                     Em
Give me your hardest fever
C G (open strum)
Loudest scream in the crowd
                     Em
Darling these good times
C D
Cant change the way I feel bout you now

(Repeat pattern)
Give me your hardest fever
Loudest scream in the crowd
And all of these good times cant change
the way I feel bout you now

[Verse 3]
Now I know you got
And the way you can drive a mad half mad
I won’t dance around you no more
Im the only one you should smile for, yeah!

[Chorus] x 2
You never need nobody
You never been alone
And I try to get your affection
And all I ever do is wrong

End on G

here's a little help for the ending solo voice... I play this stuff in Eb (1st fret capo, D G A Em Bm) or E (E A B F#m C#m) and it's still really high, and i encourage using the different key for learning the structure of the solo.

another hint is that you're singing the 6th of the chord on the first note of the chorus, and you're singing the 4th of the minor chord on "affection". so these notes aren't within the guitar chord.

(...eah) You never need nobody (oh oh)
You never (you've never been alone i i i)
(And I try to get) your affection (whoa oh oh oh)
and all (all I ever do) is wrong (all i ever do is wrooooong)

(...ong) You never need nobody (you never have)
You never (you've never been alone i i i)
(And I try to get your affection
And all I ever do is wrong)

I think the first chord in the verse is a c to d to g - Sorry be being an arse. Much love.

Lyrics in the last verse:
Now I know you've got that smile
And the way it shines can drive a man half wild
I won't dance around this no more
I'm the only one you should smile for, yeah.

Otherwise great tab
