Verse:
G C G D/F#
Nobody knows how to say goodbye,
Em C G D/F#
It seems so easy 'til you try,
Em C G D/F#
Then the moment's passed you by,
Em C G D/F#
Nobody knows how to say goodbye.

Break:
Em C G C/G

Verse:
G C G D/F#
Nobody knows how to get back home,
Em C G D/F#
And we set out so long ago,
Em C G D/F#
Searched the heavens and the earth below,
Em C G D/F#
Nobody knows how to get back home.

Break II:
Em C G C/G G C/G

Verse:
G C G D/F#
Through the darkness to the dawn,
Em C G D/F#
When I looked back you were gone,
Em C G D/F#
Heard your voice leading me on
Em C G D/F#
Through the darkness to the dawn.

Verse:
G C G D/F#
Love is deep as the road is long,
Em C G D/F#
It moves my feet to carry on,
Em C G D/F#
Beats my heart when you are gone,
Em C G D/F#
Love is deep as the road is long.

Break II:
Em C G C/G

End:
G C G D/F#
Nobody knows how the story ends,
Em C G D/F#
Live the day, do what you can,
Em C G D/F#
This is only where it began,
Em C G D/F#
Nobody knows how the story ends,
Em C G
Nobody knows how the story ends.

The fourth verse you have, "Moves my feet to carry on", sounds like it should be, "Moves my feet to carry me home"
