I've having a horrible time
E G#m C#m B E/G#m/C#m/B
Pulling myself together
E G#m C#m B E/G#m/C#m/B
I've been closing my eyes to find

The old, familiar failures

[Verse]
E G#m C#m B E/G#m/C#m/B
I've been having a horrible time
E G#m C#m B E/G#m/C#m/B
Pulling myself together
E G#m C#m B E/G#m/C#m/B
I've been closing my eyes to find
E G#m A E
Why all good things should fall apart X4

(Hold on E for a bit, then go into the next verse
Same as above, stays quiet until the last line)

[Verse]
I've been having a horrible time
Pulling myself together
I've been closing my eyes to find
Why all good things should fall apart (x4)
Same deal, hold on E, do the yeahs!
Yeah, yeah, yeah
         C#m E2
Like when we would take rides
B G#m A Am
In your American muscle car
                C#m E2
I felt American for once in my life
B G#m A Am
I never felt it again
E G#m A E
So all good things should fall apart (x4)

In the bridge, it's all just powerchords but the Am would be out of key if you did play it. Also, the G#m should be a C#m

The Am is correct, it doesn't matter if its out of key, the typical "going from major to minor chord at the end of a progression" -thing is used here. but yeah the G#m in the bridge should be a c#m
