Tuesday afternoon,

C          Bb            Am                  D      D
It doesn't matter to me, chasing the clouds away.

Something, calls to me,
C             Bb              Am                    D
The trees are drawing me near, I've got to find out why
C            Bb            Am
Those gentle voices I hear, explain it all with a

It's just the kind of day to leave myself behind.
G            F    C           G            F   C
So gently swaying through the fairyland of love,
G              F         C         G               F   C
If you'll just come with me you'll see the beauty of

Tuesday after---noon,              Tuesday afternoon.

{Repeat Arpeggio riff. The following verse is the same:}

Tuesday, afternoon,
I'm just beginning to see, now I'm on my way,
It doesn't matter to me, chasing the clouds away.
Something, calls to me,
The trees are drawing me near, I've got to find out why
Those gentle voices I hear, explain it all with a sigh.

{the faster riff of G/G/F/C goes on as the song fades}

Sorry aryeon77, but the title of this song as posted is indeed correctly stated as Forever Afternoon (Tuesday?). You can see an image of the rear cover of Days Of Future Passed here ... https://www.amazon.com/Future-Passed-Vinyl-Moody-Blues/dp/B000063J2D which shows the track listing.

Yes, Justin Hayward did record Forever Autumn, co-written by Jeff Wayne, Gary Osborne and Paul Vigrass, but that was very much later than 1967!
