The Paper Kites - Bloom

Capo 1

[Verse]
                       Dm
In the morning when I wake
                       F
And the sun is coming through,
                           C
Oh, you fill my lungs with sweetness,
F Am7
And you fill my head with you.

                       Dm
Shall I write it in a letter?
                       F
Shall I try to get it down?
                          C
Oh, you fill my head with pieces
F Am7 (stop)
Of a song I can't get out.

[Chorus]
                   Dm
Can I be close to you?
           F C F Am7
Ooh-oo-oo-ooh, ooh-oo-oo-ooh.
                  Dm
Can I be close to you?
           F C F Am7
Ooh-oo-oo-ooh, ooh-oo-oo-ooh.

[Verse]
                    Dm
Can I take it to a moment
                              F
Where the fields are painted gold
                              C
And the trees are filled with memories
F Am7
Of the feelings never told?

                           Dm
When the evening pulls the sun down,
                       F
And the day is almost through,
                           C
Oh, the whole world it is sleeping,
F Am7 (stop)
But my world is you.

[Chorus]
                   Dm
Can I be close to you?
           F C F Am7
Ooh-oo-oo-ooh, ooh-oo-oo-ooh.
                   Dm
Can I be close to you?
           F C F Am7
Ooh-oo-oo-ooh, ooh-oo-oo-ooh.

Dm F C F Am7

for anyone interested in how to play it "better". play with capo 6th fret.

main progression:

Am7 - Cadd9 - G

note: play the cadd9 like so:
eadgbe
x30010

Also to get the nice tune with it add hammer ons when changing chords, eg: Am7 - C pay 2h3 when going to the C. etc

lastly the tune played with the g chord is simply
eadgbe
32003x

32001x

32000x

Hope anyone that reads this will understand what i am saying.
