F#m E Bm E x2

F#m E
We've been waiting all our lives
Bm E
For things we've always had but have no eyes to see
F#m E
Something new is going to happen
Bm E
The most natural thing but nothing we'd expect

[Chorus]
Bm D

F#m E Bm E

F#m E
   How do cities understand
Bm E

What's the point of even asking
Bm E
You take the good and bad and you make the best of it

[Chorus]
Bm D
   All these buildings and mountains
                   C#m Em D

Slowly they'll arise before our eyes

[Verse 3]
F#m E
Have you watched the cities move
Bm E
Does nature fall before this age of industry
F#m E
But for today I'll let it go
Bm E
You've been good to me have I been good to you

Do not use the highlighted chord diagrams. Some of them are incorrect. I have provided the correct chord diagrams at the top of the tab.

This is a fantastic song, and kudos for coming up with the chords, but some of them are incorrect.

The chords should be as follows (changes are in parentheses):
e|----------------------2-----0--------|
B|-3---7--(5)-(8)-------2-----0---(3)--|
G|-4---7---6---9--------2-----1----4---|
D|-4---7---6---9--------4-----2----4---|
A|-2---5---4---7--------4-----2----2---|
E|----------------------2-----0--------|
Bm D C#m Em F#m E Bm

Thanks for the tab!

Thanks for the kudos. I love this brilliantly written song as well. As far as the chorus is concerned, upon closer inspection, I did notice that the C# & E chords were incorrect. However, I don't believe that they are minor chords either. As it turns out, the only way those 2 chords sound correct is by muting the major third, (or minor third, in your case). You were right on about the verse, (Bm rather than B). Thanks for the correction, I'll post my own in order to better illustrate this wordy response.
