Here is my tablature for The Boys Are Back In Town by Thin Lizzy.
It's a brilliant tune in my opinion!
 
PLEASE READ: You may notice a difference between this tab and others for this song.
There is no doubt that Thin Lizzy down-tuned their guitars to Eb for this
song (and a lot of their material) but to save the annoyance of having to
change guitars at gigs to play it or to play it in the wrong key I've tabbed
this in standard tuning and in the correct key. I won't take any notice of
comments pointing out that "It's in the wrong tuning". In my opinion, it's
easier to play this way and also sounds pretty much exactly the same!
 
PLEASE NOTE: This is a tab for BOTH guitar parts. Never fear band members,
someone (me) has bothered to tab it for you!
I've also tried to make it easier to learn by splitting the song up into
several sections.

This is a fantastic tab! I was looking for a version in standard tuning in the right key and this sounds spot on(saves on having to change guitars or down tune mid set!). You're also right about this been easier to play than the versions in Eb tuning. The only difference I play is to play the second chord of the intro/chorus at the 6th fret of the E string (as your hand is already there after the PM lick in the intro). Otherwise I use this tab note for note! Fantastic Job! Thanks!
