[Intro]
Cadd9 F Em7 F
Cadd9 F Em7 F

     Cadd9
I'm standing on the borderline
       Am
What should I bring or leave behind
      F
From who I was
    G
For who I'm gonna be?

[Verse 1]
Cadd9 Am
I still haven't packed my bags
             Cadd9
It's time to go
                      Am
And I could not care less
              F
So now, I'll miss the train
                 G
A walk's still progress made
  G Cadd9 Am
I just won't arrive quite as fast

[Verse 2]
Cadd9 Am
I'm thinking way back
             Cadd9
To where I'm from
                Am
To the things I had
        F
I feel I've forgotten something
                    G
Iâm sure that it's probably nothing
            G Cadd9 G
But that's based more on fear than on fact

[Chorus]
     Cadd9
I'm standing on the borderline
  Am
Between two states- I'm petrified
    Am Cadd9
To push ahead or turn back homewardly

[Verse 3]
Cadd9 Am
I'm a shadow of the past
                Cadd9
The shadow of a boy
                    Am
A boy who couldn't last
                        F
They said: "Son, don't change"
           G G Cadd9 Am
And I keep hoping they won't see how much I have

[Verse 4]
   Cadd9 Am
A feeling's not a thing you own
              Cadd9
But it can be lost
                  Am
I just want to be home
                         F
'Cause home's where the heart is
             G
And when I departed
     G Cadd9 G
I might've abandoned them both

[Chorus]
     Cadd9
I'm standing on the borderline
  Am
Between two states-- I'm petrified
      Cadd9
I'm standing on the borderline
      Am
What should I bring or leave behind
     F
From who I was
    G Em7
For who I'm gonna be?

[Bridge]
     G Bm Cadd9
I'd like to say: "I'm the same person from yesterday
            G
Nothing's changed"

         G Bm Cadd9
'Cause yesterday I was eager to see what awaited
             G
I wasn't jaded

     G Bm Em7
But no!
            Cadd9
I can't go back

G
Youth seemed sweeter
                Bm Em7
But if I could return, all I've learned would be forfeit
           Cadd9 G Bm Em7 Cadd9 G Bm Em7 Cadd9
I won't go back

[Outro]
     G Bm
I'm followed by the borderline as I pace forward in my life
 Em7 Cadd9 G
Seeking the times I'll long for once they leave me

Everything is great! The one thing I would change is em7 to em, it sounds closer to the song to me

For ukulele I think it should be C not Cadd9 . That could just be my ears also, but I recommend people try it
