i think there is more detail in the verses, you are missing something, the chords fluctuate up and down almost as if going from major to minor although i don't think thats what it actually is. and i watched thornley live in a private function, i don't recall them using drop D on this song, i think the whole song is in regular tuning. overall, sounds good, well written

Yea man not bad at all, but Iam Thornley Rarely Tunes guitars in regular or even standard eg. Dropped D.... Its more than likely, open C or A dropped B Variation
