Capo on 2 // REQUIRED IF PLAYING TO STUDIO VERSION
Most of the song repeats the base note and the Third string. Listen for the tempo.

Verses repeat like this //

    A
Well my friends are gone and my hair is grey
    A
I ache in the places where I used to play
    D A
And I’m crazy for love but I’m not coming on
    E D
I’m just paying my rent every day
           A
Oh in the Tower of Song

Bridge //

 F#m E
I see you standing on the other side
 F#m E
I don’t know how the river got so wide
  D A
I loved you baby, way back when
 F#m E
And all the bridges are burning that we might have crossed
 F#m E
But I feel so close to everything that we lost
  D E
We’ll never have to lose it again

What a song. So simple too really. Love the little hammer on/pull off's in this too.

Your right about it being in A, but note in fact the guitarist on this song plays in open-g tuning thus the capo on 2 makes the open chord an A. I think :)

Hi there! Here I am for the first time in my life. :D

So. I looove this pice as well and I ask a friend of mine who PLAYS guitar what to do. He said: Lower E to C and A to G. Thats it. Then put capo on 4. Yes 4. I know we all see it on 3. And It works werry well. I am only working on that bridge now: I see you standing on the other side...
