OK, this is, to my ears, correct to a point...it's more of an accurate interpretation
an accurate copy. Either way, it sounds good on an acoustic, so here we go:

When (E3) appears in the tab below, don't be too alarmed. It refers to pressing the fret
the top E three frets from the root barre (The whole song consists of barre chords).
Here's an example:

Fm: 133111
Fm (E3): 431111
As above, you may have to depress certain frets, but I'll list suitable chords at the
of the tab in order to make more sense. Now the chords and lyrics:

First Verse:
           Fm Fm(E3)
             A#/Bbm(E3)
Well you play that tarantella all the hounds will start to roar
     C7 C7(E3) Fm Fm(E3)
The boys all go to hell and then the Cubans hit the floor
      Fm Fm(E3) A#/Bbm
           A#/Bbm (E3)
They drive along the pipeline, they tango 'til they're sore
      C7 C7(E3) Fm
       Fm(E3)
They take apart their nightmares and they leave them by the door
       A#/Bbm A#/Bbm(E3) C7
     C7(E3)
Let me fall out of the window with confetti in my hair
Fm Fm(E3) A#/Bbm
 A#/Bbm(E3)
Deal out Jacks or Better on a blanket by the stairs
      G G(E3) Fm Fm(E3)
I'll tell you all my secrets, but I lie about my past
    A#/Bbm C7 Fm
And send me off to bed for evermore

(Repeat chord sequence using following lyrics:

Make sure they play my theme song, I guess daisies will have to do
Just get me to New Orleans and paint shadows on the pews
Turn the spit on that pig and kick the drum and let me down
Put my clarinet beneath your bed 'til I get back in town
Let me fall out of the window with confetti in my hair
Deal out Jacks or Better on a blanket by the stairs
I'll tell you all my secrets, but I lie about my past
So send me off to bed for evermore

Just make sure she's all in calico and the color of a doll
Wave the flag on Cadillac day, and a skillet on the wall
Cut me a switch or hold your breath 'til the sun goes down
Write my name on the hood, send me off to another town, and just
And just let me fall out of the window with confetti in my hair
Deal out Jacks or Better on a blanket by the stairs
Tell you all my secrets, but I lie about my past
Will you send me off to bed for evermore

Fall out of the window with confetti in my hair
Deal out Jacks or Better on a blanket by the stairs
I'll tell you all my secrets, but I lie about my past
Send me off to bed for evermore, send me off to bed for evermore

Chord List:

Fm: 1 3 3 1 1 1
Fm(E3): 4 3 1 1 1 1
A#/Bbm: 6 8 8 6 6 6
A#/Bbm(E3): 9 8 6 6 6 6
C7: 8 10 8 9 8 8
C7(E3): 11 10 8 9 8 8
G: 3 5 5 4 3 3
G(E3): 6 5 3 4 3 3

I can only apologise if this is confusing but it gets the job done when you read through
Trust me, these chords are mental epoxy: they'll definitely stick.

You could always put a capo on the first fret and then play it Em, Am, B7, and no bar cords which would free up your fingers to do more improv. and experiment with the scales instead of this strict E3 business.

Just a different way of doing it, not bashing you.

Great working man! Just some edits I think are needed, the C7(E3) i think sounds better with C7 then C7 with a G base i.e. 335353 (from E to e). Also the G in the chorus doesnt sounds right i am pretty sure it is just a C7 pattern again then to the Fm. But great thinking with the E3 business great bass line.

Bummer they messed up your formatting on the chords above the lyrics. You can copy/paste into a word processor to get it straightened out though
