I'm just trying to figure out why the different notes for the same melody in the lines of the verses...where 2 and 3 are different than 1 and 4. I'm not saying it sounds wrong, I just wondered. Is it to try and include the effect of different guitar parts? Thanks!

You could say that, but mainly playing the same thing over and over 5 times in the row -to my ears- sounds a bit boring. So i tried to change it and moreover now it feels like there is a continuity while playing the chord progressions. That's all my friend!
