A further performance note from eddiemiddle: There is a relatively consistent guitar fingerpicking pattern that she (?) uses on the recording. I surmise she might be using some type of open tuning, but I'll pass along these ideas as a way to approximate it, if you're trying to be accurate to that degree. You can approximate it/mess around with keeping a high G on the 1st string on the C, G/B, F, G open chord voicings during the instrumental interludes/"links" and the first two lines of each verse. In those areas of the song, try launching off from these voicings: C: x32013, G/B: x20013 or x20003, F: xx3013 or 1xx013, G: 3x0003 This self-admittedly lazy bit of tab below is meant to set-up a picking pattern that you would adapt to the other chords. It seems to have a similarity to a "Travis picking" rhythm in that beat 1 is a quarter note, with the remaining notes played as eighth notes for beats 2, &, 3, &, 4, &. |-----3---0-----0| |-1-----------1--| |-------0---0----| |----------------| |-3--------------| |----------------|
