[Verse 1]
D
Well my buckle makes impressions
         A
On the inside of her thigh
          G
There are little feathered Indians
           G
Where we tussled through the night
         D
If I'd known she was religious
           A
Then I wouldn't have came stoned
         G
To the house of such an angel
           G
Too fucked up to get back home

[Instrumental]
D A G x2

[Verse 2]
          D
Lookin' over West Virginia
           A
Smoking Spirits on the roof
                    G
She asked ain't anybody told ya
            G
That them things are bad for you
         D
I said many folks have warned me
                 A
There's been several people try
            G
But up till now, there ain't been nothing
         G
That I couldn't leave behind

[Chorus]
A G
Hold me close my dear
A G
Sing your whispering song
A G
Softly in my ear
A G
And I will sing along

                         Bm A G
Honey tell me how your love runs true
        Bm A G
And how I can always count on you
A
To be there when the bullets fly
G
I'd run across the river just to hold you tonight

[Instrumental]
D A G x2

[Verse 3]
          D
Well my heart is sweating bullets
           A
From the circles it has raced
         G
Like a little feathered indian
         G
Callin' out the clouds for rain
        D
I'd go runnin' through the thicket
         A
I'd go careless through the thorns
          G
Just to hold her for a minute
              G
Though it'd leave me wanting more

[Chorus]
A G
Hold me close my dear
A G
Sing your whispering song
A G
Softly in my ear
A G
And I will sing along

                        Bm A G
Honey tell me how your love runs true
        Bm A G
And how I can always count on you
A
To be there when the bullets fly
     G
I'd run across the river just to hold you tonight

1) as jordaninglis said, it's a G not a G7 in the intro 2) the final bit of the intro riff is a pull off on the D string from 4-2-0 (relative to capo) Thanks for the tab!

Sure is nice of the app to charge you then change the rules to where you have to pay more for features that you already are used to using.

The G in the chorus you tabbed out is G7? Not sure it sounds as good as a normal G
