Capo on 1st fret. If you don't have a capo or don't want to use one, transpose 1
step up and play barred chords.
[Hook] (x2)
C F G F C F G F C F G F G G F
Red red wine. Goes to my head. Makes me forget that I, still need her so,
G C F G F C F G F C F G
Red red wine, It's up to you. All I can do I've done,
F G G F G C F G F
But memories won't go. Memories won't go.
[Bridge]
G C F C
I had sworn that with time, thoughts of you'd leave my head.
G C F G
I was wrong. Now I find, just one thing makes me forget.
[Hook]
C F G F C F G F C F G F G G
Red red wine. Stay close to me. Don't let me be alone. It's tearing apart,
F G C F G G , C F G G
my blue heart.
[Bridge]
G C F C
I had sworn that with time, thoughts of you would leave my head.
G C F G
I was wrong. Now I find, just one thing makes me forget.
C F G F C F G F C F G F G G
Red red wine. Stay close to me. Don't let me be alone. It's tearing apart,
F G C F G G , C F G G
my blue, blue heart.

I obviously both hear and see something different than you do. =) C#? Yes, that's what the capo on first fret is for. Cheers!

Hi Big Easy,
well done, thanks for sharing.
Strumming tips from novice to novice: first of all it's quite important to play the three chords as barre chords so you have more control when muting the strings - which IMHO is essential when playing Reggae.
Since the original recording is rather a Rocksteady beat I'd suggest two quick downstrokes (one AND one AND...)where the first downstroke is almost a ghost note.
Their live version of the song is usually slower (more Reggae-ish). So if you more of a Reggae guy it's (simply put) two downstrokes and one upstroke (one AND-a one AND-a...).
Haitian Divorce by Steely Dan is almost a blueprint for this.
