I used this video as a reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yi61hpcRyKE. Just to note some of the
lyrics in this video are different in the recorded version.

*When when playing the G* chord every time, you play the first strumming pattern when on the 3rd fret and
slide down to the 5th fret and play the second strumming pattern once and then slide down to the 7th fret
and play the second strumming pattern again once.*

*Sometimes C and Em are played as

C Em
e|--0--| e|--0--|
B|--1--| B|--0--|
G|--0--| G|--0--|

[Strumming Patterns]
S1. D DUDU
S2. DUDUDUD

*The intro is C and Em playing the first strumming pattern five times each, then playing G* as mentioned
above and C again through once with the first strumming pattern.*

*Every chord in the verses are played through 4 times with the first strumming pattern, except G* which
is played as mentioned above.*

*Every chord in the chorus is played through twice on the first strumming pattern, but the chords in the
first two lines of every chorus are just one down strum.*

*In the above video there is an outro. C is played with the first strumming pattern 4 times and then a
down strum on Em.*

[Verse 1]
C
Waiting for you baby
Em
Through the coldest days
G* C
Huddled in the backseat of the van

And I know a girl who
       Em
would wait until it's dark
G* C
When she sings the heavens part
                    Em
They part Oooohh

[Chorus]
        D5 G C Em
And I held my ground
         D5 G C
When I heard those sounds
           Em
Coming out
       D5 G
And I must have cried
        C Em
When I held those hands
   D5 G
So do you know what I mean
   C Em
So do you know how I feel
   D5 G
So do you know what I mean

[Verse 2]
C
Baby don't you know that
Em
I love your snaggletooth
G* C
I see it poking when you laugh

And baby don't you know that
Em
I love those pigeon toes
G* C
I hope that you get these pigeon lungs
              Em
Lung Oooohh

[Chorus]
        D5 G C Em
And I held my ground
           D5 G C
When I heard those sounds
           Em
Coming out
      D5 G
And I must have cried
        C Em
When I held those hands
   D5 G
So do you know what I mean
   C Em
So do you know how I feel

And all lit up so bright

Any orange glow

almost perfectly done, took a bit of looking back and forth between the video and this so figure out the proper variations of the chords but otherwise brilliantly done, thank you very much.

You're welcome, it took a while to figure it out, I just had to keep looking at the video and try and figure out what chords and the finger picking just by listening and trial and error.

flipping fantastic! One thing I did though for people with GCEA ukes, is I just tuned up the C to a D and transposed the notes into that. Only difference is for the riff I play an E instead of the B
