From the version on the album: Genius

I really love Warren and there is certainly not enough of his music on here. so I've
listen to him like a manic trying to figure out as many as I can. Heres the first of
many Zevon tunes to come. (The chords used are: F Aminor Dminor Bflat and C so this isn't that hard).

F F Am
She tells him she thinks she needs to be free.
Dm Am F
He tells her he doesn't understand.
F Dm Bb
       C
She takes his hand, She tells him nothings working out the wat they planned.
Dm Am Bb Am
She's so many women, he can't find the one who was his friend.
Dm Am Dm Am
       F
So he's hanging on to half her heart, but he can't have the restless part,
 C Am F
so he tells her to hasten down the wind.
F F Am
Then he says he thinks she needs to be free.
Dm Am F
Then she says she'd rather be with him.
F Dm Bb
      C
But it's just a whim, by which she hopes to keep him on the limb.
Dm Am Bb Am
She's so many women, he can't find the one who was his friend.
Dm Am Dm Am
       F
So he's hanging on to half her heart, but he can't have the restless part,
C Am F
so he tells her to hasten down the wind.
Dm Am F
He tells her to hasten down the wind.
