I love this song and I couldn't find the tabs anywhere on the Internet. It's my
first, so I hope it's fine! Love to hear any suggestions!

Yes Sweetness Lyrics
Songwriters: ANDERSON, JON / SQUIRE, CHRIS / BAILEY, CLIVE
(Anderson/Squire/Bailey)

E                               D
She brings the sunshine to a rainy afternoon;
E                               D
She puts the sweetness in, stirs it with a spoon.
E                               D
She watches for my moods, never brings me down;
E                               D
She puts the sweetness in, all around.
F#m                             A                               E
She knows just what to say to make me feel so good inside.
F#m                     A                       E       D               E       D
And when I'm all alone I feel I don't want to hide, hide, hide.

E                               D
Today she brought me in, told me where she'd been;
E                               D
She put my mind at rest, put the sweetness in.
E                               D
I'll ask her for some time to go and look around;
E                               D
She puts the sweetness in with a sound.
F#m                             A                       E
She knows just what to say to make a sunny day.
F#m                     A                       B
And when I'm all alone I really don't feel that way.
            D                               B                           D
Tell me, how would you feel with no world of your own and nobody to
hold?
        B                               D                       D7              F
F Bb
I just can't see the way; I'm so glad it's today and you're here, you're here.

F                               Eb
She brings the sunshine to a rainy afternoon;

F                               Eb
She puts the sweetness in, stirs it with a spoon.
F                               Eb
She watches for my moods, never brings me down;
F                               Eb
She puts the sweetness in, all around.

Gm                              Bb                            F
She knows just what to say to make me feel so good inside.
Gm                      Bb                      F
And when I'm all alone I really don't feel that way.

Gm
Oh how I need her so,
Bb                      F       Gm
I know she'll never go. Doo doo doo doot n doo.
F                                               Gm
She'll never leave me, believe me, no. Doo doo doo doot n doo.
F                               Gm                      F
She'll never go, no no no no no no no no no no no no.

Thanks so much, lunitacautiva - really nice work and great to find chords for this obscure gem here.

2 thoughts concerning the tab:

1) For the intro and alternating chords over the first 4 lines of the first 2 verses, I hear E to D and not A. (Clearly that's what Chris is playing on the bass and also Banks on the individual notes on acoustic guitar. Having said that, if one is playing by themselves, it sounds OK with the A if you prefer or even with a Bm, both of which are in the key - it's just that if you're playing with the album or with others, you'll want the D.)

1b) Similarly, after the modulation, those corresponding chords in the 3rd verse are F and Eb, not Bb.

2) The D# is Eb (Yeah, they're the exactly same chord as each other, but for notation purposes, one mustn't notate sharp chords and flat chords in the same key - pick either sharp or flat - and in this song, the modulation goes up a half-step from the key of A to the key of Bb.)

Thanks again for all your work. Great job.

Thanks for your comments! I agree on all your improvements! I hope it's better now!
I don't usually figure out songs by ear, so I'm happy that it isn't too bad! Best, g.
