If the key of Ab is too rough (as moving quickly to Eb can be tricky), I suggest transposing the tab down one step and using a capo on the first fret (to play the shapes of G, D, Em, D) - it'll sound the same as the original song but be easier to play. I recommend listening to the original version of the song (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Ta3MYtXVtg) to get the feel for the tempo, as the strumming pattern is unusual. Also, this is originally played on a mandolin, which is why the recorded song sounds so bright when compared to a guitar rendition :).Was this info helpful?

If I was a cute little kid

If you transpose -1 and capo 1st fret on the mando it sounds exactly like the song :) thank you so much!

I think it’s “knew you then,” not “knew you when” in the Marty Mcfly verse
