[Verse 1]

F
I see a Mansard Roof through the trees,
F Gm
I see a salty message written in the eves,
   C
The ground beneath my feet
         F Dm
the hot garbage and concrete,
            Gm
And now the tops of buildings
C F
I can see them too!

[Verse 2]

F
I see a Mansard Roof through the trees,
F Gm
I see a salty message written in the eves,
   C
The ground beneath my feet
         F Dm
the hot garbage and concrete,
            Gm
And now the tops of buildings
C F
I can see them too!

[Verse 3]

F
The Argentines collapse in defeat,
F Gm
The admiralty surveys the remnants of the fleet,
   C
The ground beneath their feet
     F Dm
Is a nautically map sheet
       Gm
as thin as paper
C F
while it slips away from you.

I think the Gm is right, but there's an ascending string melody when it changes that's probably thrown you off. The melody consists of the root and third intervals of Gm, Am, and F# played on vibrato strings.
