All little correction because of a single false note ^^ I'm working on the entire tab.
I'm not sure about the tuning down thing, but I'm referring to the Guns n roses tuning.

Good tab, but is detuning at all necessary, seeing how there are no open notes?

Tuning isn't necessary if you only want to play one VR/Gn'R song but it's just natural to tune down if you're looking to play quite a few songs. Great tab man.
