for this song, i realize there is no bass part, so here's what i did:

For every chord of the song, play that note, but play it higher than 
a typical root note

For example, here are the notes i refer to:
     G       E       C        D
G|-------------------5--------7------------------------|
D|---5-------2-----------------------------------------|
A|-----------------------------------------------------|
E|-----------------------------------------------------|

play those in a pattern to go with the song and throw in the 
occasional fill every now and then.  it's not hard, and it's a fun 
way for bass players to enjoy a great song like this one.

This should be tagged under base tabs, not guitar chords. The guy who commented seemed to think you were suggesting a chord progression.
