Artist: Weezer
Song: Troublemaker
Album: The Red Album

This song is the opening track on their new album. It's pretty easy and
straight forward. I think it may be in 1/2 step down tuning, since a lot of
Weezer songs are, but this is just easier than tuning all six strings
differently for a song this simple.

Intro/Main Riff (it's pretty much throughout the whole song)

E|------------------------------------------------|
B|------------------------------------------------|
G|----------6---6-6-----------6---6-6-------------|
D|--6--XX---6---6-6----6--X---6---6-6-------------|
A|--6--XX---4---4-4---X6--X---4---4-4--X----------|
E|--4--XX-------------X4--X------------X----------|

"How's this for arts and crafts" (not too sure here)
E|------------------------------------------------|
B|----99--99--99--99--99--99--99--9---------------|
G|----XX--XX--XX--XX--XX--XX--XX--X---------------|
D|----66--66--66--66--66--66--66--6\--------------|
A|------------------------------------------------|
E|------------------------------------------------|

 "Marryin' a biatch..."
E|-------------------------------------------------|
B|-------------------------------------------------|
G|-------------------------------------------------|
D|---6--6--6--6--6--6--6--6--6--6--6--6--6--6--6--6|
A|-------------------------------------------------|
E|-------------------------------------------------|

 Chorus:
E|------------------------------------------------|
B|------------------------------------------------|
G|----------6---6-6-----------6---6-6-------------|
D|--6--XX---6---6-6----6--X---6---6-6-------------|
A|--6--XX---4---4-4---X6--X---4---4-4--X----------|
E|--4--XX-------------X4--X------------X----------|

 Breakdown:
E|---------------------------------|

G|-------------------------------------------------------------|
D|-------------------------------------------------------------|
A|-------------------------------------------------------------|
E|-------------------------------------------------------------|

 Finish with:
E|------------------------------------------------|
B|------------------------------------------------|
G|----------6---6-6-----------6---6-6-------------|
D|--6--XX---6---6-6----6--X---6---6-6-------------|
A|--6--XX---4---4-4---X6--X---4---4-4--X----------|
E|--4--XX-------------X4--X------------X----------|

E|-------------|
B|-------------|
G|-------------|
D|--6\---------|
A|--6\---------|
E|--4\---------|

That's it. Pretty simple and not hard at all. I'm not to sure of the second
guitar in the breakdown so I won't tab it because I'm sure it's wrong.

You're correct that for the easiest/most convenient interpretation, tuning down is too much work.

however, in listening to the recording, you can hear that there is a low Db2/C#2 in the progression, meaning that the tuning is actually

DbAbDbGbBbEb

or

C#G#C#F#A#D#

Depending on how you want to look at it. Again, this is only for people who are (like me) looking to play this song to as close to perfection as you can get. The rest of your tab is well-done, I believe.

Also, for the "Marryin' a biatch" section, the lick should be (both tunings represented):

1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 1 + 2 + 3 + 4
E|----------------------------------|
B|--9---9---9---9---9---9---9---9---|
G|--x---x---x---x---x---x---x---x---|
D|--6---6---6---6---6---6---6---6---|
A|----------------------------------|
E|----------------------------------|

or:
1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 1 + 2 + 3 + 4
Eb|---------------------------------|
Bb|--10--10--10--10--10--10--10-10--|
Gb|--x---x---x---x---x---x---x--x---|
Db|--7---7---7---7---7---7---7--7---|
Ab|---------------------------------|
Db|---------------------------------|

With the hold on each note being Quarter notes.

Its good, tuning and worrying about little differences is pointless with this song. Listen to the song and playing with the tab works just fine GOOD WORK!
