Title : I Had To Carry Her (Virginia's Song)
Artist : William Fitzsimmons
Album : Pittsburgh
Tabber : yylee85

I have tabbed an acoustic performance of this song which can be viewed via
this link: https://youtu.be/RB7AjJ8Iccs

In this performance, William Fitzsimmons sings the song in C# major using the
custom tuning outlined below with the Capo on the 2nd fret. To play the album
version of this song (in C major) use the same custom tuning and simply place
the Capo on the 1st fret.

I have tabbed the song in C# major based on the acoustic performance. If you
want to obtain the chords for the song in C major then transpose the song chords
down one half-step (which is easily done on the ultimate-guitar website).

Capo 2
Custom Tuning
E-G#-C#-F#-B-D#

Alternatively you can use this tuning...
Capo 1
Custom Tuning
F-A-D-G-C-E

Chords and frets are relative to the capo

Every so often William Fitzsimmons incorporates a variation of the basic G and A
fingerstyle patterns outlined above. I have tabbed some of these variations below
which you can use as a substitute as you see fit.
