Chorus 1:
E B/Eb
  Bottoms up tonight
                   C#m
I drink to you and I
               B/Eb
cause with the morning
comes the rest of my life
E B/Eb
  and with this empty glass
                 C#m
I will break the past
               B/Eb
cause with the morning
I can open my eyes
A
  I want this to
B (hold) E-B/Eb-C#m-B/Eb- x2
be my awakening

Verse 1:
E
I give this one to you
          G#m C#m
an anthem full of truth

I tell you now an epic tail
   E/G# A E
of what you put me through
And even though you don't
            G#m C#m
deserve one of your own
A melody a song about
    E/G# A B
the life that you let go
          A
I can't believe that I
still care enough to write

Chorus 2:
E B/Eb
  Bottoms up tonight
                   C#m
I drink to you and I
               B/Eb
cause with the morning
comes the rest of my life
E B/Eb
  and with this empty glass
                 C#m
I will break the past
               B/Eb
cause with the morning
I can open my eyes
A
  I want this to
B (hold) E-B/Eb-C#m-B/Eb-
be my awakening

Verse 2:
E
  Yes I miss you still
             B/Eb C#m
And probably always will
I'm living with a busted
           E/G# A E
heart that I will have until
E B/Eb
I find the strength I know
B C#m
  its somewhere in my bones
So pull the curtain up again
    E/G# A B
and get on with this show
             A
At least you know that
I still care enough to write

Chorus 3:
E B/Eb
  Bottoms up tonight
                   C#m
I drink to you and I
               B/Eb
cause with the morning
comes the rest of my life
E B/Eb
  and with this empty glass
                 C#m
I will break the past
               B/Eb
cause with the morning
I can open my eyes
A B
  And maybe I will see
                 C#m
a different destiny
Like maybe knowing you
   B/Eb B A
at all was only a bad dream
               B
I want this to be my awakening

Bridge:
C#m
   No rest for the
B A B
wicked they say
C#m
   Forgive me if
B A B
I try to change
C#m
   No rest for the
B A B
wicked they say
C#m
   Forgive me if
B A B
I try to change

Chorus 4:
E B/Eb
  Bottoms up tonight
                   C#m
I drink to you and I
               B/Eb
cause with the morning
comes the rest of my life
E B/Eb
  and with this empty glass
                 C#m
I will break the past
               B/Eb
cause with the morning
I can open my eyes
A B
  And maybe I will see
                 C#m
a different destiny
Like maybe knowing you
   B/Eb B A
at all was only a bad dream
               B (Hold) E-B/Eb-C#m-B/Eb- x2
I want this to be my awakening
