A |-2-----x--x--------|
E |-------4--2--------|

[Verse]
E Asus
I could tell you the wildest of tales
B Asus E
My friend the giant and travelling sales
E Asus
Tell you all the times that I failed
B
The years all behind me
Asus E
The stories excelled.
C#- E
And I'm drying out
B
Crying out
Asus E [riff....]
This isn't how I go

[Verse]
E Asus
I could tell you of a man not so tall
B Asus E
Who said life's a circus and so we are small
E Asus
Tell you of a girl that I saw
B Asus E
I froze in the moment and she changed it all

[Chorus]
C#- E
And I'm drying out
B
Crying out
Asus C#-
This isn't how I go
       E
Hurry now
B
Lay me down
Asus B C#- Asus E
And let these waters flow...ohhh..oohh..ooooh
B C#- Asus E
Flow...ohhh..oohh..ooooh

[Verse]
C#-(2) B Asus E
Son I am not everything you thought that I would be
C#-(2) E Asus B
But every story I have told is part of meeeee
E Asus
And you keep the air in my lungs
B Asus E
Floating along as a melody comes
E Asus
And my heart beats like timpani drums
B Asus E
Keeping the time while a symphony strums

[Chorus]
C#- E
And I'm drying out
B
Crying out
Asus C#-
This isn't how I go
       E
Hurry now
B
Lay me down
Asus B C#- Asus E
And let these waters flow...ohhh..oohh..ooooh
B C#- Asus E
Flow...ohhh..oohh..ooooh
       B C#- Asus E
Let it flow...ohhh..oohh..ooooh
       B C#- Asus E
Let it flow...ohhh..oohh..ooooh

[Verse]
C#-(2) B Asus E
Son I am not everything you thought that I would be

This tab is way off. The root notes for the beginning of the intro are F G# B A, played either on the D and G strings on the first four frets or on the A and D strings on the 6-9th frets.
