Not sure where these three comments are coming in... Yeah the main riff feels a bit funky SLIGHTLY rhythmically, and the little 11h12h11h9 11 part feels off rhythm but everything else is practically spot on... this is a great tab, it's enough to play the song with, unless you're the type who has to play perfectly to it...
contrary to what i said 3 years ago, the entire song is not necessarily in 3/4. idk why i said that. and as far as "divorcing yourself from the conventions of the theory" goes, that's not how it works. a painter cannot divorce himself from the physics of light and the perceptions of the people who view his/her art. and the whole point of a system of notation is so that everyone can read it and it remains consistent for all people.
The first tipoff for me was the fact that the tab lengthens the song an entire minute. That might not seem like a big deal, but think about sitting down to a guitar pro tab to write your own music. Unless you're copy/pasting significant portions or writing at a fast tempo (Perhaps the tempo of the original recording of Heart Of The Sunrise) it takes a significant amount of material. The beginning is too slow, Howe's flourishes at the end of the chromatic-like lines for the main melody are not the correct rhythm, the guitar behind the vocals is 1. ringing out in the original and 2. consists of three strings ringing...The keys and vocals, however, are spot-on... If too slow. I suspect most visitors to the site are looking for proper guitar tab, this being Ultimate-Guitar. Its just not quite good enough to learn much from, and I've seen a number of comprehensive tutorials on Youtube that give a more accurate portrayal of the guitar lines in the song.
