 Dsus2
My Mama always told me
                              G6
Son you best go easy down that road
      Dsus2
And she said she was sorry
                                      G6
For all the times she couldn't save my soul

               Asus4 G6
I should have listened to her words a little more
          Asus4 G6
Before I packed up and I walked right out that door

 Dsus2
Daddy always told me
                               G6
Son you better love the best you can
        Dsus2
And don't look back and be sorry
                                   G6
These moments won't be comin' 'round again

       Asus4 G6
But I feel like I can conquer the whole world
       Asus4 G6
When I look up and see those three little girls

           Dsus2
But I get lost
            Asus4
I can't find my way
         G6 Dsus2
All my pieces glued together for the world to see
         Dsus2
Mistakes I've made
           Asus4
Consumed by some
               G6 Dsus2
Until there's nothing left of me when all is said and done

Dsus2 Asus4 G6 Dsus2

   Dsus2
Now a Preacher man once told me
                              G6
Son I'm not so sure you can be saved
         Dsus2
He said life is full of choices
                                     G6
And HE sees all the bad ones that you've made

             Asus4 G6
And I said Yeah you're right I'll probably go to Hell
     Asus4 G6
But Goddamn all the stories I can tell

               Dsus2
'Cause I'm so lost
            Asus4
I can't find my way
         G6 Dsus2
All my pieces glued together for the world to see
          Dsus2
Mistakes I've made
           Asus4
Consumed by some
               G6 Dsus2
Until there's nothing left of me when all is said and done

Mama always told me
                               G6

Verse 2: Don't look back and be sorry These moments won't be coming 'round again. Pre-Chorus But I feel like I could conquer the whole world When I look up and see those three little girls Chorus: Cause I get lost I can't find my way All the pieces glued together for the world to see Mistakes I've made consumed by some Till there's nothing left of me when all is said and done Pre Chorus: But Goddamm all the stories I can tell Chorus: Cause I'm so lost I can't find my way All the pieces glued together for the world to see Mistakes I've made consumed by some Till there's nothing left of me when all is said and done This is what I have understood after listening to several recordings. Hope it helps other than that great job, I'll check out the chords later today.

This is almost right, except that you don't capo all 6 strings. Just capo all but the low E string (you can see in this video https://youtu.be/YoHsEDeCO3U). And it's very obvious during the intro that he's playing that low D#. So half-step down standard tuning, capo at second fret with low E string open (not capo'd). The rest is right.

I think this user made it to how he/she wants to sing it. But to play like Aaron; I'd tune it 1/2 step down and play E, A, Bm where you've recommended D A and G respectively.
