P.S. Theres this one chord that your gonna use which isnt
really a chord.. well at least I dont think it is cus Ive
never seen it? Well of course Ive seen it... uhm, here.
you can say alot of people use it (including me) but I
guess its just not an official chord yet or something
cus it doesnt have a name... gets? Okay. Uhmmm, this is
how you do that chord: Index finger on the 2nd string
from the bottom of the 1st fret, and your middle finger
on the 2nd string from the top of the 2nd fret. Lets just
call it the..... C/B chord? Ahahaha. Okay, so itll be the
     C/B chord for now. (;

Am-C-F-C-C/B-Am-C-G (Intro)

[Verse 1]
C Am
Love of mine some day you will die
            F
But I'll be close behind
            Am G
I'll follow you into the dark
   C Am
No blinding light or tunnels to gates of white
         F
Just our hands clasped so tight
                C G
Waiting for the hint of a spark

[Chorus]
   Am C
If Heaven and Hell decide
          F C C/B
That they both are satisfied
Am C G
Illuminate the NOs on their vacancy signs
   Am C
If there's no one beside you
          E Am
When your soul embarks
     F Fm C
Then I'll follow you into the dark

[Verse 2]
C Am
In Catholic school as vicious as Roman rule
         F Am G
I got my knuckles bruised by a lady in black
      C Am
And I held my tongue as she told me
                 F
"Son fear is the heart of love"
     C G
So I never went back

[Chorus]
   Am C
If Heaven and Hell decide
          F C C/B
That they both are satisfied
Am C G
Illuminate the NOs on their vacancy signs
   Am C
If there's no one beside you
          E Am
When your soul embarks
     F Fm C
Then I'll follow you into the dark

[Verse 3]
C Am
You and me have seen everything to see
                F
From Bangkok to Calgary
                      Am G
And the soles of your shoes are all worn down
             C
The time for sleep is now
                Am
It's nothing to cry about
                       F
'cause we'll hold each other soon
       Am F
In the blackest of rooms

[Chorus]
   Am C
If Heaven and Hell decide
          F C C/B
That they both are satisfied
Am C G
Illuminate the No's on their vacancy signs
   Am C
If there's no one beside you
          E Am
When your soul embarks
     F Fm C
Then I'll follow you into the dark
     F Fm C
Then I'll follow you into the dark

This sounds pretty accurate but I think the C/B should be a G chord.

It's a walkdown so C/B or G/B work, the key is to be playing that B note walking down from C to B to A. Also the last line of each verse is C G (not Am G) and the last verse on "blackest of rooms" goes Am F

In the recording I hear a second line of the intro: Am-C-E-(Am-Gadd9)-F-Fm-C/G. Parenthesis means half a measure each
