[Verse 1]
F
Regrets collect like old friends
Here to relive your darkest moments
Bb
I can see no way, I can see no way
F
And all of the ghouls come out to play
Dm Bb F
And every demon wants his pound of flesh
C Dm
But I like to keep some things to myself
Bb Gm
I like to keep my issues drawn
Bb
It's always darkest before the dawn
F
And I've been a fool and I've been blind
Bb
I can never leave the past behind
I can see no way, I can see no way
F
I'm always dragging that horse around
Dm Bb F
All of his questions, such a mournful sound
C Dm
Tonight I'm gonna bury that horse in the ground
Bb Gm
So I like to keep my issues drawn
Bb
But it's always darkest before the dawn
[Chorus]
F
Shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, ooh woaaah
Shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, ooh woaaaah
Bb
And it's hard to dance with a devil on your back
F
So shake him off, oh woah
[Verse 2]
Dm Bb F
And I am done with my graceless heart
C Dm
So tonight I'm gonna cut it out and then restart
Bb Gm
Cause I like to keep my issues drawn
Bb
It's always darkest before the dawn
[Chorus]
F
Shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, ooh woaaah
Shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, ooh woaaah
Bb
And it's hard to dance with a devil on your back
F
So shake him off, oh woah
Dm Bb
And it's hard to dance with a devil on your back
F C
And given half the chance would I take any of it back
Dm Bb
It's a fine romance but it's left me so undone
Gm Bb F
It's always darkest before the dawn
F
Oh woah, oh woah...
[Bridge]
Gm
And I'm damned if I do and I'm damned if I don't
Dm C
So here's to drinks in the dark at the end of my rope
Gm
And I'm ready to suffer and I'm ready to hope
Dm C
It's a shot in the dark aimed right at my throat
Bb
Cause looking for heaven, found the devil in me
Dm C
Looking for heaven, found the devil in me
(Bb)
Well what the hell I'm gonna let it happen to me
[Chorus]
F
Shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, ooh woaaah
Shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, ooh woaaah
Bb
And it's hard to dance with a devil on your back
F
So shake him off, oh woah
F
Shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, ooh woaaah
Shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, ooh woaaah
Bb
And it's hard to dance with a devil on your back
F
So shake him off, oh woah
F Gm F Gm Bb Gm

These G minors and B flats are the little church-y chord changes, if you're not sure
what the heck I'm doing.
Also I'm pretty sure there's no chord on "What the hell, I'm gonna let it happen to
me." But if you don't happen to have pounding drums to back you up, you might wanna play
the Bb there, or whatever else you think sounds good.

I've been listening to the song and i think that you should add a C when she sings "me" at:
(Bb) C
Well what the hell I'm gonna let it happen to me
its pretty difficult to here because of all the drumming and voices and stuff, try to play it while listening to the song and it makes much more sense to her climbing three half steps with her voice

Judging by the rhytmic of the song and the drums sound really cool, I just conntue to strum muted strings and you get some kind of "drumming" sound... I just strum Bb once in the beginning, mute it, and strum open strings once and continue with F. After all, you play it how you like it the most and it gets funnier to play with variation.

Listening to the acoustic version I like how Gm-Bb-C sounds on "Well what the hell...", Bb on "happen" and C on "me".
