i replace c# with g# sometimes and I think it sounds better but only in certain spots... just saying

The key to this song is playing the two main chords as power chords. The F# is played regularly on the top 2 strings but the C# is played on the top 2 strings but with a G# root and C# at the 4th fret. That gives it that distinctive sound.
