I'm not sure about this, I monkeyed around with it a little bit and found if you don't use a capo, and just bar the 5th fret when playing the multitude of "Ds" in the verse and then bring all other chords down 5 steps and play them open, it sounds pretty accurate. Thanks for establishing the basic progression though, it helped a lot!
