Song: Walk on the wild side
Artist: Lou Reed
Composer: Lou Reed
Album: Transformer

The song is simple enough played in C,
but a C to F6 isn't as effective on guitar as
Lou's Reed's D to G6.
Here's how he played it on the record...

DROPPED TUNING: D-G-C-F-A-d
To play along with the original recording you need to
tune all the strings down a full tone.
Use a chromatic tuner to get the pitch more accurate.
The chords will then sound in the recorded key of C

Copy and paste this link to hear the original track:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oG6fayQBm9w

Lou has also played it in D, (a whole tone higher
than the original record) which he did in most live
performances, so no detuning is needed:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yKOQapYcyhE

Chord shapes are named as if still in standard tuning
D = xx0232  G6 = 320030   Em = 022000   G = 320033
