The Godfather 50Th Anniversary - The Aftermath Tab

Track no. 6 on disc 1 of The Godfather 50th Anniversary expanded and remastered edition: The Aftermath.
 
Playing in the movie after what Nino Rota titled "trumpet warmup scales" in his notes, as Vito is buying
fruit in the streets of New York City. After he is gunned down by assassins, Fredo cries out for him and
The Aftermath begins to play. Composed by Rota and conducted by Carlo Savina, this is a short cue of 32
seconds based on the melody of The Godfather Waltz.
 
The mandolin plays with a continuous tremolo along an oboe in the same octave and an accordion (both which
I suggest you pluck) on top of an acoustic guitar quietly being fingerpicked in the background. Transcript
