It's played on two strings, that's D and A (normal high G tuned up two steps). Like this: A---0---2---0---0-2-5-|-0---2---0---3-2-0-2- D-0---0---0---0-------|-0-0---0---0--------- Watch nearly any video of Mark playing and he's down about the open fret. What he does is move the D and A into the middle two spaces. Some songs, I concede, might use the tuning you tab as, like Buena.
