Don't Threaten Me With A Good Time - Panic! At The Disco

Tabbed By: Sanchit Bhattacharjee

Tuning: Standard

Note: Rhythm of Verse, Pre-Chorus, and Chorus is 5 beats of first chord followed by 3 beats of second chord in
every Am-Caug or C-F pair. For Hook and Bridge it seems to be an even 4 beats for each.

Capo 4

[Hook: Brendon Urie - Actually uses solo that's tabbed elsewhere but these chords work as well]

Alright, alright
Alright, alright
Am Caug
Alright, alright, it's a hell of a feeling though
C F
It's a hell of a feeling though
Am Caug
Alright, alright, it's a hell of a feeling though
C F
It's a hell of a feeling though

[Verse 1: Brendon Urie]

Am Caug
Who are these people?
C F
I just woke up in my un-derwear
Am Caug
No liquor left on the shelf
C F
I should probably introduce myself
Am Caug
You shoulda' seen what I wore
C F
I had a cane and a par-ty hat
Am Caug
I was the king of this hologram
              C F
Where there's no such thing as getting out of hand
Am Caug
Memories tend to just pop up
C F
Drunk pre-meds and some rub-ber gloves
Am Caug
Five-thousand people with design-er drugs
C
Don't think I'll ever get enough
F
(Don't think I'll ever get enough)

[Audio sample from B52's "Rock Lobster"]

[Pre-Chorus: Brendon Urie]

Am Caug
Champagne, cocaine, gas-oline
C F
And most things in between
Am Caug
I rode the city in a shop-ping cart
C F
A pack of camels and a smoke alarm

[Chorus: Brendon Urie]

Am Caug
This night is heat-ing up
C F
Raise hell and turn it up
Am Caug
Saying "If you go on you might pass out in a drain pipe"
C
Oh yeah
(Rest)
Don't threaten me with a good time

[Hook: Brendon Urie]

Am Caug
Alright, alright, it's a hell of a feeling though
C F
It's a hell of a feeling though
Am Caug
Alright, alright, it's a hell of a feeling though
C F
It's a hell of a feeling though

[Verse 2: Brendon Urie]

Am Caug
What are these footprints?
C F
They don't look very hu-man-like
Am Caug
Now I wish that I could find my clothes
C F
Bedsheets and a mor-ning rose (hey)
Am Caug
I wanna wake up
C F
Can't even tell if this is a dream
Am Caug
How did we end up in my neigh-bors pool
C F
Upside-down with a per-fect view?
Am Caug
Bought a bar at the speed of sound
C F
Fancy feet dancing through this town
Am Caug
Lost my mind in a wed-ding gown
C
Don't think I'll ever get it now
F
(Don't think I'll ever get it now)

[Pre-Chorus: Brendon Urie]

Am Caug
Champagne, cocaine, gas-oline
C F
And most things in between
Am Caug
I rode the city in a shop-ping cart
C F
A pack of camels and a smoke alarm

[Chorus: Brendon Urie]

Am Caug
This night is heat-ing up
C F
Raise hell and turn it up
Am Caug
Saying "If you go on you might pass out in a drain pipe"

Oh yeah
(Rest)
Don't threaten me with a good time

[Bridge: Brendon Urie]

Am Caug
I'm a scholar and a gentle-man
                    C F
And I usually don't fall when I try to stand
Am Caug
I lost a bet to a guy in a Chiffon skirt
C F
But I make these high heels work
Am Caug
I told you time and time ag-ain
           C F
I'm not as think as you drunk I am
An
And we all fell down
         Caug C
When the sun came up
                     F
I think we've had en-ough

[Hook: Brendon Urie]

if you want easy chords, transpose to 5, use capo 4 is what i found works best with easy chords, just my opinion

Inaccurate, verse is right sure, But you can clearly hear the change of chord pattern in chorus.. and definitely the bridge... I don't get why this is 5*
