Hello, these are the tabs that I play for Nan Ding off of Tweez by Slint! Very fun song to play.
Learnt it completly by ear so might not be 100% accurate. Tuning is an Open D Major 7th kinda sound with
a B and an E added...

My cover: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_q3-8C84uQU&lc=Ugxjk-cm7YqoUJ-f0qV4AaABAg

[Intro] Palm mute and play a variation of these notes...
 e|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
 B|----------5-----------5------------5------------5--------------------------|
F#|---------------4------------4------------5-------------5-------------------|
C#|------------6-----6------6-----6------6-----6-------6-----6----------------|
 A|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
 D|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|

Repeat above until... let these chords ring
 e|-----------------------------(0)---------------------------(0)-------------|
 B|---------0-------------------(0)---------------------------(0)-------------|
F#|------1------------1---------(6)----------(0)-----0-0------(6)-------------|
C#|--------------1--------------(8)----------(0)-----0-0------(8)-------------|
 A|-----------------------------(0)----------(4)-----4-4------(0)-------------|
 D|------------------------------------------(0)-----0-0----------------------|
--
Play this 4x and... end with this chord
 e|-----------------------------------------|
 B|-----------------------------------------|
F#|----0---10---0---10------------(0)-------|
C#|----0---11---0---11------------(0)-------|
 A|----4---9----4---9-------------(4)-------|
 D|----0---0----0---0-------------(0)-------|

Now for the melodic part, play each phrase 3x except the first one
 e|---------------------------------------|
 B|---------------------------------------|
F#|--------0------------------------------|
C#|------8---8--6--8--8\5-----------------| 4x
 A|-------------------7\4-----------------|
 D|------------------------(0)------------|

 e|---------------------------------------|
 B|---------------------------------------|
F#|--------8---8--8\6\5-------------------|
C#|------8---8----------6--5--------------| 3x
 A|------------------------4--------------|
 D|----------------------------(0)--------|

 e|---------------------------------------|
 B|---------------------------------------|
F#|--------0------------------------------|
C#|------8---8--6--8--8\5-----------------| 3x
 A|-------------------7\4-----------------|
 D|------------------------(0)------------|

 e|---------------------------------------|
 B|------3---3----------------------------|
F#|----3---3----3h5p3---------------------|
C#|-------------------6-5-----------------| 3x
 A|---------------------4-----------------|
 D|------------------------(0)------------|

Then it goes back to the first phrase and its played almost once but it cuts to the loud alternating
chords again as so, please listen to the song and make sense of it!
 e|---------------------------------------------------|
 B|---------------------------------------------------|
F#|--------0----------------0---10--0---10------(0)---|
C#|------8---8--6--8--8-----0---11--0---11------(0)---| Repeat it 4 times like before and end with the
 A|-------------------7-----4---9---4---9-------(4)---| chord ringing
 D|-------------------------0---0---0---0-------(0)---|

Repeat with just this one variation in the first phrase where you complement the bass line
Again, please listen to the song for reference.

 D|-----------------------0---0---0---0---0---0---0---0----0---x---x---x-------------------8----(8)------|

The last chord of the song is pitch modulated down and back up again by a half step, using a tremolo bar.
If you do not have a whammy bar in your guitar you can simply just slide the entire chord down a half step
and back up to compensate. It wont sound as smooth as the record but still better than nothing!!

Have fun learning and hope it helps!! :D
