The walkdown signature riff is the D is played on the 14th fret, the A on the 9th fret (D shape), and the G on the 7th fret (D shape) to sound like the album. However, for acoustic covers it sounds fine to play all the chords regular. I think the walkdown riff is more like D at 10th position, only one D, then to A, then E at 7th position, then G. Instead of Cadd9, try C/D xx0553. Amounts to more or less the same thing but it's better with the D pedal. And only between D and C/D in the verse, no E as on the other tab. Which you don't need, one version under I'm OK and one under I'm Okay.
